Limited Release - Winter 2020

A dark beer with a bright soul.

Midnight black with restrained roasty characters and a velvety body, bursting with unexpectedly bright hop aromas of candied pineapple, peach, pine resin and some hoppy floral notes.

Imagine the hop aroma as a kind of Jungian anima to an otherwise peculiar old-man style of beer.  Dark and comforting, while reminiscent of summertime  fruit and warm weather.

• ABV: 5.8%
• Malts: Pale malt, Dark Crystal malt, Munich malt, Chocolate malt, roast barley
• Hops: Ekuanot, Simcoe
• Yeast: Whitbreads
