Varietal: Mataro

Vintage: 2016

Region: McLaren Vale, SA

Nose: Aromas of tar, forest berries, black peppercorn & dry spices.

Palate: The wine was held back for a year to let the tannins loosen and develop the characteristics that present on the nose.

Notes: [The Winemakers] picked the Mataro before it became too ripe, placed it in an open fermenter with plenty of whole bunches intact. This wine is a little wild, with lovely tannins, and gorgeous aromas.

ABV: 13.7%

Size: 750mL
